Great Start to 2010
ByIt has been a great start to the 2010 season!
Two freshmen are starting varsity quarterbacks for their teams!
Case Brabham went 23 for 38 with 323 yards passing, 3 touchdowns and 3 interceptions for St. Mark’s in a loss vs. Bishop Dunne.
Luke Thompson is starting as the varsity quarterback for Fort Worth Southwest Christian.
Another freshman, Max Partlo, is the JV quarterback for First Baptist Academy and is 30 for 61 with 529 yards passing and 4 touchdowns in two games.
Zach Gregory, senior at First Baptist Academy, had a big game in a win vs. Frisco Legacy Christian. He ran for 103 yards and threw for 196 yards and a touchdown in leading the Saints to a victory over the #1 ranked small private school in the area. The quarterback for Frisco Legacy was Micah Baxter, another Texas QB player, who had a great game at quarterback, free safety, receiver, and punt returner. Micah intercepted Zach off of a missed ball by the FBA receiver.
As usual, Thor Long is tearing up opposing defenses in two victories for Sherman. He has thrown for 408 yards, 6 touchdowns, 1 interception, and 1 rushing touchdown in the first two games.
Carson Hyles threw a 50 yard touchdown pass playing for the Rowlett High School JV team.
Jake Hornberger has led Dallas Covenant to a 2-0 start this season.
Chris Chaulk is now starting for FW Trinity Valley’s 8th grade team!
Colt Rutherford went 10 for 15 passing for 193 yards, 3 touchdowns passing, and one rushing touchdown in a victory for Pottsboro’s JV team.
Josh Cousins is starting for Argyle Liberty Christian and has led them to a 1-0 start.
